1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Symphony, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Content

• You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on Symphony.
• By submitting content, you grant Symphony a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content.
• You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
• Content that is prohibited includes:
  • Illegal or infringing material
  • Hate speech or harassment
  • Explicit or offensive content
  • Spam or misleading information

4. Data Security & Privacy

• ✓ All passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing with a salt factor of 10.
• ✓ Your password is never stored in plain text.
• ✓ We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
• ✓ All data transmitted between you and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL.
• ⚠ While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password.

5. Third-Party Services

• Symphony integrates with Spotify and other third-party music services.
• When using third-party services, you are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
• We do not store your third-party credentials; we use OAuth tokens for authentication.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass security measures.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the platform.
• Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes.

7. Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please contact us with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing material
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief that use is unauthorized

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

• Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Music streaming may be affected by third-party API limitations.

10. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid (if any) for the service.
• We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

11. Changes to Terms

• We may update these terms at any time.
• Significant changes will be notified via email or platform.
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles.
